Default Headlight not seating correctly...

I searched about this but this doesn't seem like the common problem. My headlights go up and down fine, but the problem is that the drivers side light doesn't go down all the way. I would say it's approximately 1/8" higher than it's supposed to be. Is there a way to adjust the closed position?

Thanks for any help

Yes, there are adjustments you can make to have the door sit flush with the body.

- Raise the headlight.
- Remove the black bezel from the headlight.
- Remove the headlight door. The door has 2 side screws and 2 rear screws. Remove the 2 side screws first, then manually lower the door to remove the 2 rear screws. Be careful later when replacing the rear screws since you can crack the door cover if you over tighten them.

Now with the door removed, you'll see the bracket attached to the bottom of it. There are 8 adjustment screws - 4 for vertical adjustment and 4 for horizonal. You'll want to adjust the vertical. Those should be the 4 screws located:

- 2 Front screws are the most forward and should be slightly smaller than the horizontal screws right behind them.
- 2 rear screws are at the rear corners and should be the same smaller size as the front.

Adjust these 4 screws to lower the door as needed. If you have access to the service manual, the procedure is provided in it.
