I just took delivery of my new 2002 Z06 and discovered the HVAC system is inoperative. When I turn the car on, the dual zone climate control doesn't have any display, and nothing happens when I press any of the buttons (fan, temperature control, etc.). The system just blows out hot air from the front vents. I checked the HVAC fuse for power and it was good. Does anybody know what I should check to get this system to work (where its plugged in, etc.). The dealership doesn't open until Tuesday, and I'd like to fix it myself this weekend if its something simple. I can't believe this car left Bowling Green without anybody checking this system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi there,
I did reply on your other post, so please retreive codes from the DIC in order to proceed with diagnosis.
I am absolutely sure that it was checked before it left the factory, so let us know what you have, c4c5
I replied to you in my other post, but in case you haven't gone there, the two codes that came out of the system were: B2252H and U1000H. When the display got to module 99 (FIVAC), it displayed "No Communication". How do you think I should proceed now? Thanks for your time!
