Default Catch can installed

Very happy with quality of unit and excellent communication and follow-up from manufacturer. I fab'd the aluminum brackets, all is tight and works well. Can is engineered with great functional features and seems built to last.

I'm not sure of rules to link if not a forum sponsor, so pm me if you'de like more info. I'm not affiliated, just very satisfied...

Looks good. But you are way serious with those AN lines. The rest of us are just running 3/8 hose........

They aren't real AN lines, they're just 3/8" fuel line with SS braided sleaves. The wife thought they looked prettier, and I'll be damned if she wasn't right...

Can someone please explain the features/benefits of an oil catch can?

Does it function much like a grease trap? ie: any unwanted debris drops to the bottom and in the catch cans case just crankcase air returns?

I kinda want one (dont know why.. ) but I just want to know what the benefits are...

GREAT FORUM BY THE WAY!!!

The new catch can looks very nice and the lines look way kool.

The purpose of the catch can is to keep oil out of the intake as this is very bad for our motors and even a stocker can get oil in the intake if it is run high in the RPM band, pretty much what my Sick HP FI setup sees all the time
