It looks like my engine oil cooler needs a fan to keep the temperature in the optimum range. I have found a fan made by SPAL (thanks Cajundude!) that will work perfect. It pulls a about 4.5 amps at 12volts. Any ideas where I can safely pull switched 12v inside the engine bay?
There is an option to add a thermostat, but I would need to tap the EOC and I risk getting metal pieces inside the core. Anyone done this too?
I running my aux. cooling fan switch, right out of the main fuse block. I hooked to the power side of the fuse, pull the fuse and see what side of the fuse the power is on an connect there. No codes or problems did that about 3 months ago....B

Thanks Bob,
Do you remember which fuse you connected to? They have fuses that have a wire lead attached that are meant for just this purpose. I have seen the regular size ones but none for the small fuses that are used in the fuse box on the passenger side floorboard. Are these the normal size fuses?
