Default help with window please, LDCM NO COMM

LDCM NO COMM.

Been intermmitent for about a month now, its temp related. I have use of it in the mornings and evenings when its cool out. But soon as it heats up I lose use of my DS door switches. I cant do anything with it, and it wont respond to the FOB.

I am ASSUMING its the module. I took a screwdriver and popped the switch panel there and disconnected and reconnected it to see if it was a bad connection there. It still wont respond.

Who has gone through this, and was it the module or something else? Im on gmpartsdirect ready to order and I cant tell if Im ordering the right part as theyre diagrams arent very specific. Should I order the module? Help with this would be greatly appreciated.

i swapped the passenger and DS modules today, the DS switch is still not responding. The passenger side worked with the DS module in place so I dont think its the LSDM. I think this is either a bad switchpanel, or a ground issue. The power unlock button on the switch panel still works and thats it.

Does anyone have a wire schematic? Im about to break down and take it into a dealership.

If you loose LDCM comm you definitely have a bad module or bad wiring. It could be bad power wire, or bad ground or ground wire or bad data cable. Switch problem should not cause that problem. Being temperature related it sounds like the module. Check the wiring plug where the door harness connects to the car harness. It is just inside the accordion weather boot between the door and pillar post. You should be able to access from under the dash, you will probably have to remove the bottom dash panel. Sometimes there is a little plastic/rubber door you have to move to get to the plug. These plugs are know to cause problems. Below is the door diagrams.

When you swapped modules did you have comm to both modules after the swap?

Good Luck!
