Default too hot to handle?

I was out cruising today and was going up the mountains for a little while, then back on a level surface.

My temp crept up to 225-230, is this ok?
Once I got back to cruising at 60mph it was 190 degrees, no sweat!

That's the stock coolant fan setting temps. You can reprogram to cooler settings if that's a little scarey. LS1 edit or HP tuners or manual fan switch.

Nope. Gotta have the LS1 edit or HP Tuners software, or know someone who does.

The LSx engines are designed to run "hot" and are OK in that temp range.

Turn on the AC and the temp will come down (it kicks the fans on).
