long story, but I do not have either of the origional key pads, can dealer program new ones without an origional??/ thanks

I assume you mean key fobs and you can reprogram new fobs without getting the dealer involved at all. You can buy new fob(s) go through a quick reprogramming (or training) in just a few minutes by pushing a few buttons on the DIC.
