Default Headlights and alignment woes.....

I have a 2000 C5 and am wondering if the headlights are up to snuff. I put in some PIAA Xenon 9005's and 9006's, and they are a lot more intense, but even when I flash the brights at someone who is approaching me with their brights on, they sometimes don't even notice!!! I was careful to make sure I put the new bulbs in where the old ones came out, i.e., I put the 9005's in where I removed the 9005's, etc. But I did buy the car used, and the lights have never been right, which is why I changed to a brighter light set-up. I think they are way out of alignment, and could have the brights inverted to the dims and dims to brights, etc. Help!! When you turn on the brights, are they the 2 outer lights, or the 2 inner lights. Thanks guys.

The hi-beams are the 2 inner lights. The headlights on the C5 just plain suck. I can't figure out how to get my passenger-side headlights raised. The hi-beams seam to light up as much as other cars' low-beams!

When you change bulbs you need to realign the lights. Its a rather involved process. When I changed mine the new ones were WAY off and they were seated properly.

How do you go about doing this? The lights didn't light up the road too well with the stock lights. I swapped out to some Silverstars and that's when the passenger side seemed to shoot lower.

The Silverstars are what I used also. Here is a good link for proper aiming. Scroll down to Aiming Your New Lights.
