A4 ATF change question
I'm planning to change the fluid in my A4 tomorrow. Do I put the new pan gasket on dry, or is some kind of sealer recommended?

Do not use sealer on the gasket. The pan has a raised rib that forces the gasket against the transmission . Will seal fine, torque to 8# starting in the middle of the pan and working outward.
