Default More AC Problems

Well, my AC saga continues.

After solving the source of my power loss problem - disconnected vacuum line behind the intake, and my lack of cold air - freon needed recharging...I am without AC again.

The system is blowing hot air less than 2 months after recharging the coolant. I'm guessing that this means that I have a leak somewhere.

I realize that this may be a broad question, but are there certain places to look first?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Start by checking your outside temp sensor located passenger side inside the nose area. When you depress your ac button, does the ac light blink? If it does the temp sensor is faulting. A common problem. I think once the sensor displays the temp above 40 degress, the light stops blinking and your ac will again work. Mine does this all the time. I just will live with it until it becomes a constant problem. Hope that helps!

Thanks. The light no longer blinks since I recharged the system, however, the air temp has become hotter and hotter. Some have suggested using dye and a fluorescent light to look for the leak and then to replace the o-rings at the offending connections. I wish I knew how many connections there were and where to look for them all
