i smell fuel?
I went to a cruise this weekend about 200 miles from home... got into town & filled back up.... after that I washed, wax & detailed her... I popped the hood for some cleaning didnt' smell any gas.... went crusing for an hour... got temps as high as 225*. After several miles 5mph in the temps i decided to park her and pop the hood to help cool her down... but when i did so i noticed a distinct smell of fuel... left the hood popped for a few mins and game back.... still there... any ideas?
car puts down about 390rwhp and went to the track the next day (after smelling gas) and was running 13.22 @110 on street tires with an elevation of 2400 ft... i was "bogging" shortly out of the hole... got some initial traction and i could feel power dropping with a slight bog if you will and then a surge of power... not sure if that helps and or matters....
