CLB Install

If you had the GM recall K harness installed and you want to install the CLB...do you have to remove the K Harness before installing the CLB.

I would think so, yes. But for now, I would just disconnect the column lock motor side of GM's harness, which would make it function more like the CLB (and would no longer require the column lock motor to function, which is a very good thing since a failure of this motor after the recall will still leave you stranded). Then if the harness K relay ever fails, you can then remove it completely and install the CLB (that you have been saving) in place of the harness k.
