I have an 04 CE vert. Lately I've noticed that it seems to be riding harder than it had been. I do have the selective ride control and I do notice a difference when I switch from tour to sport so I don't think that there are any issues with it being stuck in sport. Just curious about what may be causing it to ride hard. Definately noticing bumps much more that I had before. Car has 14,500 miles.
Since the car is so new and has low mileage, I would look to the tires first. If you have the original runflats, it is possible that they are the issue. As any tire experiences heat cycles, the rubber gets increasingly hard and transmits more and more road "noise" to the occupants. This problem seems to be exacerbated by run-flats and the OE, EMT's in particular.
A good test would be to borrow a set of newer tires from a friend and take a drive over a known surface. If the "noise" is reduced, you will know where the problem lies.
Good luck, and let us know what you find out… GUSTO

Make sure that the shock stuffers are removed, they are there for shipping. It is common that the dealers did not remove them before delivery.
Thanks for the replies. I'll check on those spacers. It's just weird because it's only been this way since I got it out of the garage after the winter. The car had a great ride for the first 2 years. Certainly possible that the spacers are still there though.
