Default Info

Thought I would post this for everyones info in case you have this happen to you. Here is a copy of my original post:

On a WOT 0-80mph the check engine light came on, blinked for about a minute and went off. It has not been on since. I pulled the codes and nothing seems to be engine related. The only codes are as follows

U1064 - Loss of communications with BCM
B2262 - Horizontal position sensor fault
B2264 - Vertical position sensor fault
B2282 - Battery #1 fault
B2284 - Battery #2 fault
B2263 - Horizontal position sensor fit
B2265 - Horizontal position sensor fault
B2283 - Battery #1 Fault
B2285 - Battery #2 fault

Just had a custom stereo installed and would assume most of these are from the battery change and taking the door speakers out.

Now to the problem I found with the car after the light came on. A couple times at low speeds the car loses power. It's almost like pushing in the clutch except there is no throttle response. The RPM's will drop to idle, push the gas and nothing. After a couple seconds the car seems to wake up and everything is fine. No lights, no codes.....Any idea what the heck it could be? Seems like an electrical/computer issue since if it would be mechanical, once the problem started it wouldn't go away. Possibly traction control or something shutting off power???

Any idea's / fixes would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

Thanks!

After searching through many different possibilities we found it to be a fuel pump going bad and eventually completely shutting off. Not a cheap or easy fix and very hard to find until it completely stopped working.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help!!
