Default Side screen vents from Vetteshop

I bought the Vetteshop 6-piece mesh package. I'm having a bit of trouble installing the side vend screens. The instructions say they are labeled Right and Left. However, both parts are labeled "SIDE" and nothing else. I got an e-mail into Vetteshop, but wanted to see if anyone on the list could offer some advice or had similar experience with these vents. Anyone?

I loosened up the wheel well liners and then stuck my hand in behind the side opening with the screens (cut my hand up a little) then used the adhesive strips already attached and some JB Quick weld...those F'ers arent moving...and they look great....just play around with the placement to make sure its in the right position before affixing...hope this helps...

Same here..mine werent labeled...I just tried each one and only one fit in each location. Make sure you absolutely clean with the alcohol pad until its squeaky clean and let it dry totally....

Got an e-mail from Vetteshop this morning. There really is no right or left. Just flip it around and they'll work on either side. I didn't need to take the wheel well out but I did need to remove all the screws and hold it out of the way. The inside fill certainly needs removed but that's only two screws. The screens fit great and look cool. And the quality is very good too. I'll be ordering the Z06 front screens soon. Has anyone installed the Z06 factory front screens? How do they fit?

The key to this install is...

...clean the attachment points, and get rid of the tape the screens came with.

I used denatured alcohol to clean the screens and attachment points on the car. Then I placed 3M VHB (Very High Bond) tape on the screens. Be careful because this tape is unforgiving.

I live on Guam, the land of 90% humidity and mucho rain. Yes, I drive my car in the rain. The screens have not come off the car since I installed them over a year ago.
