Rattling noise
I have an 02 MN6 coupe and since they day I brought her home with 43k miles I have been hearing a rattling noise from the rear end when shifting gears. I was told this was natural for a C5. Was I lied to and does this sound mean I need to flush and replace the differential fluid??

T56 trannys have low-rpm gear noise (mine's around 1000-1300 rpm) that sounds like a rattle. Assuming that's what you're hearing, everything's fine.

Either way I am thinking that I will go ahead and drain and refill my dif fluid this weekend while I have the car up on jacks replacing the rotors, calibers, pads and brake fluid.
