Default What changed from 2001 to 2002?

Hi everyone,

I've owned my 2002 for a month now, and before I begin considering mods, I wanted to get an idea of what known changes have been made between 2001 and 2002 model years. I understand that there are a few tweaks:

1) Apparently, GM changed the rings to make sure that the oil consumption problem was eliminated.

2) The airbox has been opened up a tad.

3) A few more options have become "standard"

Beyond that, is there anything else about the 2002s that is different from an earlier model year? Will most of the same mods offer the same gains that they did on the 2001s?

This is being phased in on the Coupes and Convertibles. I'm not sure at what point they switched rings (or if they have switched yet)

2) The airbox has been opened up a tad.
I wasn't aware they changed anything from 2001 to 2002.

I thought the airbox opening being enlarged was on the Z06 only. I do not think the 2001 and 2002 had an opening in the front of the airbox.
