Has anyone experienced the loss of dash panel lights? The headlights work, the interior dome light works but the cluster and radio lights do not work. The local Chevy dealership has no idea what the cause is but estimates $1500.00 to fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated; the car only has 64,000 miles.

I'm assuming you're using the dimmer switch to move around and test them? Most common problem here is people have them all the way dimmed...
Next, I'd start with the dimmer switch itself as it's cheap, though probably takes 2 hours to change...possibly BCM if not that? Also, don't forget to check your fuses...

LoL...
How can they give you an estimate if they do not know what the problem is?
To follow up on the suggestions, I looked at the dimmer switch and it will turn on the dome light but that is it. When I turn on the headlights the dash cluster lights do not come on nor do the taillights. If anyone can guide me in the right direction before I go to the dealership it would be much appreciated.

I believe I had a similar problem on a 99' I worked on, came in for tail lights in-op, and I believe the dash lights were not working correctly, The fix was replacing the multi function switch (turn signal switch).
Thank you for the tip! The car runs great except for this light issue. I will give the switch a try.

No problem, if you want to know if the multifunction switch/TS switch is the answer get one, and before going through all the trouble of removing the switch, un plug the connector and plug the switch in, turn on the head lights and see if the tail lights are now functioning along with the ip lights.
Thanks,
