Let me set the scene for you...Beautiful day, take the top of my baby to go for a ride.(NO CRACKS BOYS ) In order to do that,I have to roll down the windows. Fine, no problem.. roll 'em down, take the top off, and roll the windows back up for the ride. Problem is, now the window won't go down! When the drivers side control switch is pushed, I can hear a clicking sound, but no movement. When the passenger side control is pushed, nothing. Any ideas? Isn't the car too "young" for the motor to be bad? Does anyone have an "easy" answer or quick fix?
Thanks!

It blew a relay/switch in the door for the motor. I have had 2 replaced in my 2003 on the right side, you just go to roll down the window and "click". Nothing...
Dealer will know this fix, VERY, VERY common. I have replaced one on the left window also.
Hope this helps...
This has happened to my '99 several times. Try pushing the auto down switch and slamming the door. This has worked for me in the past.
If it does work, cycle BOTH windows up and down the first time you drive your car each day. It seems to keep the mechanism lubricated better. I've done this for several years now and haven't had the window stick since.
I have the same recurring problem on my 2000 Coupe. The holding the button and slamming the door trick worked once, but only lasted two weeks. I had to take off the door panel, remove the rubber access to get to the motor, then tap on the motor with a light tool while pressing the button. Took me about 45 mins start-to-finish.
Something gets stuck on these cheap motors. It was explained in a previous thread, but I can't recall exactly what part of the motor is the culprit, and I couldn't really get a good look at the motor through the access hole to figure it out. Eventually, you will have to replace that motor.
Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestions! I will start with one, and work my way through! Worst case I go to the dealership and get hit hard for something simple! LNSDQ!

Ok, I've tried this fix, and nothing.. I guess it'll come down to the $$'s!
Thanks everyone!
You might try again. Had the same problem on my 03 Z with 9500 miles. I just went out and it worked. I had to slam the door about 10-15 times. The last time was really hard, but it actually worked. Thanks guys!
I just had to deal with this today. I was suppose to go somewhere and it was raining......I had parked the car with the windows down in the garage.....went to put them up and the "pilot's" side refused to budge...had the clicking noise in the door control module like others have described. Slamming the door didn't help so I pulled the door speaker and trim panel. Tapped on the regulator motor with a rubber mallet until it suddenly burst back to life. Ran it up and down several times throughout the day and works as advertised.
