looking for C5 tech opinions

looking for C5 tech opinions
I just realized I have a hot cyclinder on my motor. All the cylinders run about the same temp... but my #1 cylinder runs about 2x has hot?
I am not blowing any oil... engine runs fine... although it seems to miss a little when the car is first fired up... then fires on all cylinders and is smooth when warmed up.
I am curious whether or not I have a week head gasket or something with the cylinder head?
The mechanic who noticed it... said not much you can do about it... but it is unusual to have a hot cylinder...
(he is used the Electronic temp gun pointing at the exhaust manifold and cylinder head to read temps)
I remember when Norris put my motor in they said, they Thought the Head gasket was put on upside down... and removed the head to switched it (or reserve it) THIS IS A LS1 motor. Reason is the water passages where partially blocked?
ANY THOUGHTS OR OPINIONS ??
