Default Need a quick response regarding wiper motors...

I just replaced the wiper motor on my 99. I am having a difficult time getting the wipers to seat after the last wipe after I turn off the switch. Can anyone advise me as to what the problem might be. I think it has to do with the connection to the motor but I am not sure...PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Open the hood, pop off the plastic caps that cover the wiperarm nuts, losen the nut with a socket then adjust the wipers to there proper seated off position, tighten the nuts and replace the caps.

I did try this...When the wipers complete the last swipe of the windshield they are supposed to go almost to the seated position and just about stop and slowly return to the resting place on the cowl. Mine are not doing that...that final hesitation is not happening....ANY IDEAS?????

it is easier with the cowl off arms on . key on run wipers on low 3or 4 sweeps reach in and turn off watch arm on motor it stop then reverse direction 1/2 turn . did it come with a module bolted underneath 3 or 4 small torx . is the arm linkage free no rust stains . if you r+red the mod. did you put the cam in the right pos. the arm is splined [fine] hard to get in proper pos. get it wrong the wipers will try to wipe the hood

There is no module underneath that I can see...The linkage is free from rust. I think the cam / spline probably moved. Do you have any advise as to how this can be adjusted????

why did you replace the wiper motor? did the new one fix that problem? is whats happening now a brand new problem. when they stop is it always in the same pos. ? all other functions work except park? from limited info i would say 'park switch' in mod. if this is a brand new problem ,take it back. i never had good luck with rebuilt wiper motors. either they would not delay, park or spray
