Oh yeah a melted plug wire will give you missfires galore. New wire should cure your ills. Just make sure it does not hit that header again :yesnod: :eek:

How did you blow up your motor on NOS, I am curious what went wrong so I can be on the lookout. :yesnod:

Here are a few reasons why:
1) the wrong heat range plugs were used
2) didn't install a rpm/progressive controller (several misshifts caused the motor to hit the rev limiter with NOS on full blast
3) motor was running extremely lean (GMAF, TB)
4) no timing retard (not sure about this one)

any exhaust leak near the o2 sensors will kill power!!! we picked up 85rwhp on the dyno after fixing an exhaust leak on a heads and cam car!!
