Default Thanks Vette Doctors!!

A couple of months ago The Vette Doctors put a 3.90 rear in my car. Last week I finally had enough miles on it to be considered broken in. On my way to work I leaned into it from a 50 mph roll, but something didn't seem right afterwords. After I slowed down I noticed the rear end was making a loud roaring noise. After all the patience I had to break it in properly(500 miles), one romp on the gas ruined the rear. Needless to say, I was annoyed and frustrated.

The next morning I call Carmen and tell him what happend. After listening to his regular ball breaking routine, he tells me to drop it off next week.

I finally had an opportunity to drop it off last wednesday afternoon. I was told that he'd have to remove the rear, send it back to the builder, and have to wait for the builder's opinion if it was a faulty rear or not. Then he'd rebuild it and send it back.

The next morning I get a phone call saying the car was done! I was shocked, I wasn't expecting it for another week or so. Plus, instead of having to pick it up from the shop, he left it at his home for me to pick up, which is a good 20+ minutes closer!

Thanks again for the awesome customer service!

Spencer, how's it going. Saw your car there Thursday when I was picking up mine with the new clutch and Shift light. Good luck on the tune. Should be a new car when Carmen is done.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out. I would also suggest you accompany us to the Aug 5th Show and Go at E-town so we can see in person how she runs

Ed

John, You stick to driving race boats.

Ed, I am definitely planning to attend on the 5th, that's why she's at The Docs now.

Have a date with Carmen on August 21 for a dyno tune. Rumor has it that he's the best. I always like the best!

P.S. Their "rep" is why I'll drive 250 miles for a tune!

Figures to be my luck that it will be 95+ degrees everyday next week while getting tuned. Carmen may just end up sitting in the drivers' seat with the A/C on and the tunes pumping.

I have had issues w/3.90's and noise in my old firebird. They are not a "GM" gear. I think they are made by an aftermarket, company not a regular supplier

fastdriver>> I did a 900 mile round trip and would do it again in a heartbeat. These guys are consumate professionals AND Carmen is quite an entertainer! Biggest drawback is that QUIMBO hangs around I'm ready Marshall
