Default Borla Exhaust System

In my hunt to beat my boyfriends 74 Vette, I've heard mention of the Borla Exhaust System. I met a man at a car show that had this installed on his car and it sounded awesome. Will this increase my horsepower at all? Will the fuel injection need to be adjusted? Also, will this void my manufacturers warranty?

Hi, early riser!! I assume you are talking aboiut a 'cat-back' system only. This is the exhaust from after the catalytic converters to the tail pipes.
1. It probably won't add any Hp.
2. It won't kill a warranty
3. It will sound great.
4. It won't require any changes to the fuel/air ratios.
5. It will sound great.

and lastly, I think it will sound great.

You might want to do a search for more opinions on how they sound. Many of us did not like the drone and removed them. Some like em some don't. If you are fairly young you are more prone to the like side of the equation.

food for thought ... everybody that is saying they sound great are those that have them.

Actually, I have the Corsa Indy Pace version and love them. But I assumed she heard the Borla's and liked them.

as far as hp increase, not much, i put my car on the dyno, and I am at 367hp (with borla stinger and halltech stinger) i don't have a stock dyno pull... http://gamarco.com/z06/napierville/M...6_dynopull.avi
