Default help! lowering c5!!!

hey guys we just lowered the front end of the c5. when we put it back down it didnt look like it was lowered at all. we followed the exact instructions on the z06forum, turning the bolt counter clock wise.. what is up with this?

I have read alot of posts on this subject and it seems that you need to drive it like the Nascar boys do when they are putting heat in their tires. This should help the springs to settle give you a good idea of the total drop. Hope this helps

yes drive it, it needs to settle. drive it to home depot get some wood so you can make some ramps, u'll eventually need them

thanks a lot guys... we started with about 31' in the back and now in the back it is like 27.5'... in the front 27' in the front.. lookin really sexi.. i was reading on the z06 forum that it only should drop an inch or so.. we're talking close to 4'.. wow!! il get some pictures on here soon!!

Default C5 lowering Quick

Make sure you get your alignment checked after the car settles. I did my '02 ZO6 and let it settle for a few days. Then checked the alignment.
