hot cam vs 02 LS6 Cam?

hot cam vs 02 LS6 Cam?
I am looking for a mild cam that will give me some additional power/TQ in the low/mid range, not just the high end, as I use my car as a daily driver. I was looking at these 2 cams as I think the PCM should be OK with either, any thoughts?

It will NOT idle with the hot cam. It's 112 LSA and fairly long duration are not friendly with the stock PCM. I have had 4 cams in my car and liked the hot cam the best. But no way would it hold an idle. ANDY

Most of the hot cam users have drilled out the TB bypass hole to get a good idle. That seems to work.
I think the LS6 cam is a good compromise. With 116 degree lobe centers it idles well and produces some serious power.
Both will work with the stock ECM. The LS6 has more low end torque.
