Can an UD pulley cause the engine to run a little hotter than normal.
I have a 160 Tsta and I run about 183 at hiway speeds with ambient temps are in the 80s fans turn on at 180. Is constant running of fans bad for them?
Thanks,

Thats what mine runs even during this 110* weather we've had lately its not going over 200* I've had no problems and would say its right on where it should be.
They never only run the temp the t-stat is, thats just the point that it opens to provide quicker cooling and make for lower temps.

Thanks RPO...I guess I was confused with the readings in the cooler months when the temps would read 173 to 176 when ambient temps were in the 40s. I have not gone over 205 in city traffic when the outside temp was 100+. S. I was concerned about the fans running constantly also...but other cars have them running all the time without ill effect I'm sure.
