I started getting this code in the DIC. I looked it up in the Service Manuals, but don't totally understand what it is saying. Anyone know what is causing this code?

Did you have any work done on the steering rack or near the steering rack and column? A lot of mechanics do not realize there is a correct position for the steering wheel and only think it has to look like it is straight up.

I haven't had any work done to the car. This is probably not related, but the code started appearing soon after I jacked the car up, took the wheels off and repainted my calipers.
There are a few write ups on this, esp in the sticky topic at the top. I currently have the same issue. I believe the 1997-1999 have adjustable sensors (Bill Curlee mentioned this) but the later models are fixed. I'm hoping I can adjust mine and get this resolved. Also, having your car aligned can solve the issue.
Try reseating the Connector at the EBTCM (Electronic Brake Traction Control Module). On 98 the EBTCM is located at rear underside of your car (by Mufflers). You may just have a poor electrical connection.
