Catalytic Converters ??
I believe my '99 FRC has 1 cat per side. I have been reading a thread describing Z06 1 Cat replacing the 2 Cats (pup, pre cats) . Was there a changeover? Which years came with 2 Cats per side?

I believe in 2000 the ones for California got 4 cats, the rest got 2. In 2001 GM made all Vettes 50 state compliant and gave them all 4 cats. I don't know if all Z06's came with 2 cats Vs. 4

Thanks for the response.
I just checked mine. My FRC was built in April of '99, North east car, only 1 Cat per side.
I bought the full Exhaust from a 2002 Z06, Therefore there would be no reason to swap the Cats and front pipe, just the Mufflers.
