Default TPIS Headers going in soon. Will I really notice it????

I am really nervous about not feeling any difference when these things are installed. I really need to do this before I add a cam though..

Please look at my current mods below. Will I really FEEL a difference? Or will I just think it's more powerful because it's louder?

Oh yeah, no question you'll feel the difference, my car pulls much harder after the headers. The headers will put you about even with a stock '01 Z06. Plus, your car will sound EVIL now. Once you get the headers put on, try this: floor the gas in 2nd gear till readline, then just let off the throttle. You'll get a sound that sounds like a gun firing out the back of your car. It won't happen everytime, but when it does, it's sweet, especially under a bridge! :D

Hello i'm installing TPIS on my 01 Z this thursday also, i am wondering the same thing...From what i have read, the gain on a C5 could go 20 HP, on a Z maybe 14-15HP , you get a lot of variences on this one, but not one person has done it, and regretted the change

Oh yeah, you'll feel a difference......it'll be pulling harder in all gears.:D

FYI: I had the headers installed about 3 months prior to the head/cam mod.
