Default Predator Definitions

I just got into modifying individual parameters with my Predator and found that there are many parameters which are adjustable but are not mentioned in the user's manual. The description I see in the readout window is very sketchy and gives little information as to what is going on. Is there somewhere I can find a description of what these new parameters are and just exactly what I am adjusting?

For example, one parameter says, "WOT Pressure". What pressure are they referring to? It allows you to adjust, "Softer or Firmer" by percentage, but I'm not exactly sure what it is I'm adjusting. Is this another way of adjusting downshift relative to throttle position? I am guessing that this is allowing the adjustment of how much throttle is needed before it is considered WOT and therefore downshifts, but it sure would be nice to have some more documentation. Anybody know where these newer parameter descriptions might be found? I have an email in to the tech support at Diablo, but thought someone here might already have such a document.

Gene, you have a newer updated version and I'n not completely familiar with some of its screens.

"Pressure" equals line fluid pressure. The higher (firmer) you set it, the more snappy of shift will occur.

Hey, Mike....You were right on the money about the line fluid pressure. I firmed it up and the shifts definitely had more snap to them. THANKS!

Now, torque management. I'm guessing "Abuse mode time limit" (gotta love "abuse mode") and "% Torque Reduction" should both be "off", right? (They only allow off or on) How's about "Upshift Torque Reduction"?

none opf those are on my older model of Predator. Instead, mine simply dialed out TM altogether with no way to make any further adjustments.

You might try starting a post in the "C5 Scan & Tune' section as well.
