Default embarassing question, but hot in Austin!!

OK, 2000 vert
could someone please tell me the size of the oil drain plug and which side of the engine the oil filter resides... This is my first oil change on my C5, I am using Mobil 1 synth, 10w/30....Purolator L14006.

Is it safe to jack the front up using a 2 foot 2X4 under the front crossmember????

Thanks in advance....

The drain plug takes a 15mm socket and the filter is on the driver side of the engine.

Use rhino ramps. After the oil finishes draining jack the back of the car up to get the rest out. You know the rest...
