Finished PTC C5 Blower and Mod Project!
http://tradezone.com/vette/keys.html
To see what the car is all about click on my banner below. I only have 200 miles on the car and the Mallett 3:73s have to be broken in so I can not give you any dyno numbers yet, however here is some brief input. I will post more as the car breaks in.
Performance Technical Center http://performancetechcenter.com did a fantastic job of bringing a fine blower kit to the C5 community and Performance Associates 909 592 4441 made it all come together with a solid 382 and great wrench turning and tuning. I am ecstatic with the car. After reading about all your great experiences with your C5s, I have been anxiously waiting to get a taste myself!
It is hard to believe that an engine can put out so much horsepower, yet be so mellow under normal driving conditions. Here is some brief input on some of the mods you might be interested in.Performance Associates LS1 382: :D
PTC Blower kit: everything as advertised - AWESOME
Granatelli MAF 5% rich: Works great
ARE ported and polished Throttle Body: Do it!
LPE modified fuel pump: Great way to go.
Boost A Pump: Solved the problem
TPIS headers: Fit and work great
BCool Radiator: Worked out fine
DRM oil cooler adapter: Did the job
DRM roll bar: Fit perfectly
Mcleod dual disk clutch: Smooth as silk
B&B PRTs: Just what the doctor ordered no resonance
Mallett 3:73: Should have come stock with the car
Mallett/Penske Double Adjustable Shocks: Ride/handle fantastic
Hotchkis Sway Bars: No clunks and do their job.
Michelen Pilot Sports: Handle and track great
AP Stillen 6 piston FR 4 piston R: Stop on a dime - awesome.
Tubbing for the 335s: Sure glad I have the meat there.
I want to thank Agostino, Doug Rippie, and Mallett for the great consultation they provided on this project in addition to what Performance Associates and Performance Technical Center did for the car. You too Joel (JBSBLOWNC5) for your relentless product testing on the Mcleod Dual Disk clutch and some other issues.

. BTW, how much does that AP Adj. M/C run? Thanks :D
Saw your car up on the Dyno at PTC yesterday too  ! What a terrific looking machine. Now, you have all of the accessories to go with that fine design and look! :D :D :D
I will also be very interested in your dyno's and SOTP reports on how it runs. Geoff has done all of my mods and I concur that he is very good at what he does  That blower installation sounded very neat.

The technology of the C5 won out over the cobra. Also got tired of not having a top for the cobra. Hot... no AC cold... no heater... however the 427 was out to 470 and put out 675 horse on the engine dyno. A blast to drive. Here are some more shots of it.

Geoff at PTC supplied the blower system and Randy at Performance Associates in Southern California did the Install and Dyno work.
Both are very capable. You are lucky to have Geoff at PTC in your area.MelloYellow
I am looking forward to dyno and track results too. I plan on running slicks for the track to see what this bad boy will do. Some autocross and runs like at Willow Springs CA out here are planed.
I am sure you are excited about your new engine. And I DITO the stock market.... same here.

Still waiting,

The last time I checked you have to buy PTC's after cooler blower system from a dealer or PTC and have them install it. Give Geoff at PTC a call and see if this is still the process.
Thanks thekev_2000 and all others for the encouragement on this project! I do plan on attending as many events as possible with this project car.
I have put some miles on since my above post and am finding this power train set up to be everything I counted on. AWESOME horsepower/torque yet smooth as silk under normal driving conditions. Also... stopping is a blast with those 14 inch rotors up front.
A modified C5 is truly a great performance value.
