Default PLUS SIZE TIRES- i know another tire thread

i want to incease the tire width front and rear on my 2000 cpe. i have
the z06 wheels that have been chromed. currently the tires are
245/45/17 and 275/40/18. the z06 came with larger tires than the cpe.

am i correct thinking that 265/35/17 and 295/35/18 will work.

seems runflat up sizing is a pain and difficult to find what you want without a money tree.
what sizes are you all running on this size rim as an upsize.

i know another tire thread. but i havent seen/ cant find about upsizes for this configuration. a cpe with z06 wheels

295/35-18 is the factory Z06 tire sizes on your rear Z06 wheels, and 265/40-17 was the size for the fronts. I would choose a 275/35-17 front tire before your contemplated 265/35-17; the rolling diameter of the latter is significantly less than OEM. BTW, are your Z06 wheels OEM width, as there are repro Z06-styled wheels that are made in the stock coupe width?

I agree go with 295/35/18 in the back and in the front you can go with either 265/40/17 or 275/40/17. There are more tire choices in the 275/40/17 size.

the wheels are chromed oem's. i dont like the way the cpe size tires look on them. the tread is narrower than the rim. kinda looks as though its stretching to fit front and back. cps dont have different dimentions in the wheel wells do they??

I'm pretty sure the cars' wheel well dimensions are the same. The reason why the tires look like they're stretching to fit is because they are !! The width of the coupe's wheels is one inch less than the width of the Z06 wheels
