Default Troubleshooting brakes

I originally posted this question in the roadracing & autocross section, but didn't get a whole lot of response over there.

I had my 97 on the Road Atlanta course in a DE this past weekend. The last session was cut short when the ABS light came on and the DIC read something like "service traction system". That message may not be 100% accurate as I was pretty busy at that location on track. I pitted and loaded the car for the trip home. When I unloaded the car, everything seemed OK and no warning lights or messages. I pulled the codes when I got home and got a 28TCS 1243H which is the history code that says "BPMV Pump Motor Stalled". I have since checked the brakes, sensors, wheel bearings and anything else obvious, but see no problems. Can any one here shed some light on this code or problem for me. Thanks to all in advance.

If it was just a historical code, then I'd clear it and see if it comes back. I've had a problem with ABS periodically when I'm on course (autox, never on a track) and hit a bump under hard acceleration or braking. ABS light comes on, but always clears when I shut down and restart.

I know it's not much help, but that's all I've got.

Have a good one,
Mike
