Default Heads up display question...

Hello, this is one of my first posts, so I would like to send out a big hello to everyone, great website here, I get to drool over cars all day thanks to you guys/gals

I have not posted much because I don't have a corvette yet, so most of my lurking has been done in the c5 forsale forum. As such, I don't have much to post about. However, as the title states, I have a question about heads up display. Can a car that does not have it been installed with it? If it can, is it not worth the time/tylenol you will have to endure? It is pretty much one of my requirements with a C5, though it seems kinda stupid to pass up some good cars if they don't have it. Thanks very much, I appreciate it!

Matt

Yes you can install it later.
The kits have been sold by forum vendors for about $400.
There have been several posts and write-ups including pictures on how to do it.

I would make that one of the criteria for the cars you're looking at. I imagine there are plenty out there with HUDs.

Good luck on your car seeking, and have a good one,
Mike
