Alternator Moved/Belt size
Hi guys. I have been working on my H&C install and have ran into a couple snags. The latest being that my alternator needed to be relocated slightly to work with my etp heads. Well, we have fabricated a bracket and now neither of the belts I have, fit. I bought another new belt and currently have it installed on the car. My question is, where do you want your tensioner to be? There is an arrow and three lines on the tensioner and currently the arrow is on the middle line. It seems a little tight imo. Just wondering where the arrow is pointing on a stock set-up? I can't recall where mine set at. Thanks for any help.

I was doing some work on my friend 98 and he was closed to the first mark closed to the water pump. The belt was hard to install. I could not figured out why but the belt was difficult to remove and get in. I had to use a screw driver. His car is 100% stock.
