theft deterrent

Is there anyway to reset the theft deterrent, on a 98', all the electrical works but the security will not shut off so I can start the car?

Don't know if this will have any effect on it, but maybe try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes or so.

See if anything resets???

thanks for the reply, I tried that, actual time was 1 hour, did not work, maybe someone else will have an answer.

Are there any codes available? Perhaps the ccm will produce some if any!

No codes are showing up, I went to get in the car today and accidently hit the alarm button, got the alarm off and went to start the car, all power is functional but the security light stays on and will not let the car start, tried disconnecting and charging the battery but, neither worked, thanks for the reply
