Default Need H/C Guru assistance

Please take a look at my sig for current numbers. I am wondering how much more RWHP/RWTQ will I have if I put a good H/C package (any suggestions; AFR/ETP don't know anything about the cam...but definately something that I can add a blower to at a later time) and the FAST intake?
I am on a 3:15 A4 platform.

I am making over 100 HP and 75 FTLBS more than I did stock on my 01 Z06. My most recent cam and head swap was the best "all around" combo I have run yet. Very mild lope, great street manners (even with A/C on) and huge TQ numbers. This is not my most powerful set-up but like you I am planning on a procharger soon.

Something to consider:
Comp custom grind 228/232 588/592 110+1 XER lobes (set at 4* of advance-No fly cutting needed) VERY VERY MILD CAM!! 110+1 LSA is very smooth
AFR 205's milled .0020
LG PRO's LTs- These are hands down the best-picked up 12RWHP and 22 RWTQ vs. TPIS headers
Fast 90/LS2 set-up (last thing to do-$1200 for 8HP??)
25% underdrive pulley

This would be a very good set-up for you because you could run a pretty small converter since this combo will make you around 350 RWTQ at 2500RPMs. On the street this drives like stock. All my buddies that drive my car can't believe it's a 11 sec car because the street manners are so good. Their cars are loud and shake and barely idle but mine is like butter and most of the time..........faster.

Here you go 460RWHP and 425RWTQ!! Let me know if you have any questions and best of luck to you. You will be very pleased.
Set-up recommended by Tony Mamo from AFR and cam guru Patrick G from LS1TECH.

Thank you for the response.
I should be over 400 RWHP with a good set, right?
I already have the American Racing Headers and I am very happy with them.

You have two of the best in the business to help you out with this. A&A and OCC. Why not give them a call. There are guys here in San Diego pulling the numbers you are looking for with a h/c set up from A & A.

AFR 205's
224/228 on a 114 LSA (AFR PN 6016)
Ported FAST 90 / Ported LS2 TB
LG or AR headers (which you already have)
Mezzeire EWP

The problem is the CR....to maximize N/A you would mill the heads to 62 cc and run an .040 Cometic gasket (about 11.25 to 1). That combo I just described would probably net you 420-430 RWHP and 400 RWTQ thru an auto with a small cam and perfect driving manners which would be quite stout and very impressive all things considered.

Problem is when you step into FI, you would have wanted at least a point less CR.

If you dont mill the heads and run a factory gasket you will be close to the 10.2 number which is more blower friendly, but the numbers mentioned above (N/A) would be some 15 HP and 15 ft/lbs lighter.

Hope this helps...

Tony M.

Thanks. I was just trying to get information. I will definately have Andy take a gander at this. He has done great on the car thus far, always an improvement each visit.
I might just do the F/I, I am on the fence right now.
