2nd gear pops out on downshift occasionally
Is this a common problem? My old 6 speed did this, and I replaced it with a newer unit, and a few months later, it started doing it again, seems to only do it when its cold and I downshift, never anytime else.

You need to adjust the shifter box. There are two torqux screws that hold the shift box in place. loosen the torqux bolts, move the box back and forth until the shifter is striaght up. This is most likely the issue.
