Have you installed a convertible top?
Has anyone installed there own convertible top? I intend to keep my frame and install a new cloth top with rear glass window and am looking for any friendly tech advise. Does this job require any special tools? Thank you!

I was asking the same question when I needed a top. The general consensus is of the many DIY projects on these cars...Top replacement is not one. EVERYONE recommended finding and experienced expert.
I did and I'm happy. Went with a Robbins top and one of there preferred installers.

Convt TOP replacement !?!
i could use a new WHITE Top which seems White is the 1st Color to go bad from the wrinkles when down ?!?!
$500. is the price for a new TOP but heard it needs a lot of adjusting ?? & its better to have the Pro's (who ever they are ????)
Do the work & was told it could be another $500. JUST for the INSTALL !!!!!!! (so $1000. total ????)
