Thanks for sharing. My local NAPA claims they don't know anything about this. Is this a national deal or local? Where did you see it advertised? Thanks in advance.

Techron is Chevron's new gasoline additive. The additive consists of a mixture of compounds -- polyether amines (or what Chevron calls "Techron Technology") -- that are highly effective at fighting deposits in an engine's intake system while avoiding contributing to combustion chamber deposits. Chevron patented these compounds 15 years ago and has been improving and reformulating them ever since. Chevron's new fuel additive delivers the latest innovation in the company's state-of-the-art, patented Techron technology. Although the underlying technology has proven highly effective in Chevron gasolines and in bottled concentrate for years, this latest improvement brings consumers to Chevron's highest level of performance yet. Chevron gasolines with Techron are unbeatable at helping protect and maintain engine performance and helping minimize emissions.
Techron is added to all grades of Chevron gasolines -- Regular, Plus and Supreme. It is added at a higher dose than was Techroline, Chevron's previous additive. This new formula and increased dosage enables Techron to further improve Chevron gasolines' ability to clean up and keep clean intake valves, while maintaining combustion chamber deposit performance at the highest level of any gasoline sold. New Chevron Supreme gasoline with Techron should be used in cars that are designed to perform better with high octane gasoline. As an added benefit, Chevron's Supreme grade receives an even higher dose of Techron, which can clean up dirty carburetors, fuel injectors and intake valves even faster than the Regular or Plus grades. This attribute can be important for consumers who occasionally purchase a lower quality gasoline or who own a vehicle that is particularly sensitive to deposits.

I know what Techron is, just not Techon. We have Chevron gas stations in my state and all grades have Techron already in it. So I only put Chevron in my Z06's tank.
Here is a link to a $2.00 rebate on your Techron also. Print it out and mail it in http://usedautotips.com/
NO MORE REBATES for me.. . Hate 'em, never ever ever get my money in mail... . I dont bother sending or working with rebates anymore, I'd rather save an instant $1, than save $10 in rebates...
Ok, I figured it out. I went to my NAPA here in FL. The Techron Fuel system cleaner is buy 2, get 1 free. The regular Techron Fuel injector cleaner is a $2.00 rebate on it, but only one rebate per household.
Hope that helps! BTW, I couldn't find Techon either
somewhere in here (CF) i read that Techron also helps clean or correct the false positive you sometimes get on your fuel gauge. if any of you have had what appeared to be lots of miles left til empty (fuel range) and then found yourself with a pounding heart when the fuel gauge suddnely goes to empty and your board says driving on reserves. it's a really good wake up....i hope this really works.
