Need NC Tranny shop
The 6 speed in my 97 need some TLC or replaced. I am open to either option. Took it to my local stealership this morning and they said (after $50.00 thank you) that they do not work on trannys but only replace them for $3500.00 ++++
. Anybody know of a reputable independent shop in NC that can either repair or replace the tranny-possibly with a RPM unit?

You could take your car to Seymour, TN (about 15 miles east of Knoxville)to Dragon's Breath Performance. Bob specializes in vettes and he does tranny's, and has worked with RPM's tranny's specifically. Here's his link: http://www.dragonsbreathperformance.com
