Default What is this??

This is going to be tough without photos, but I'll try anyway. I don't post a lot of photos, but I can e-mail one if needed.
What is the small indention, about a quarter in size, that is located on the top of the block, directly under the neck of the intake manifold, and directly behind the water pump. It appears to have small preforations in the center. Is it some type of freeze plug??
The reason I'm asking, is that my wife's car has developed a small leak (seen on the garage floor) that appears to be antifreeze. I was checking everything out trying to find the source, and this "indention" was full (a few drops) of what looks like antifreeze. (pink in color)

It may be the cooling tube that runs under the trottle body. Other's will chime in soon.

It's not a tube, but a type of "recess", the size of a quarter, in the block. It is located between the water pump and the engne valley cover. It actually looks like a type of plug, but not like any freeze plug I've ever seen. The only reason I noticed it, was that it had a pink colored liquid (water) in it. I dried it out with a rag, and a little more seaped back in it later.

Will try to get a photo tonight; I could have also mentioned, it is actually more on the passnger side of the block, which makes it easy to see from that side.It is in plain view.

If it is in the block under the neck of the intake manifold then it is not a water port. No water in the center of the block behind the water pump. You do have the coolant crossover tube between the heads that could leak, it is located in that area.
