Y2K wheel fitment and finish

1) Find another 18x9.5s pair of rear OEM Y2Ks. Can an OEM set of the rear 18x9.5 wheels bolt right onto the front?
2) If this doesn't work or is more than $500 to pull off, then I may try and mount my 17x9.5 and 17x11 Fikse FM/5s from my LT1 Z28 onto my new C5. The bolt pattern will match, and Fikse told me that the offsets wold probably be close, but that the wheels would not be hubcentric. What does this mean?
Finish Question:
Are the OEM Y2Ks a high polish aluminum or chrome plated? A lot of the knockoffs are chrome and lower quality.
Edit: Sorry, I just realized this should have been in the General Tech forum. My mistake, I'm still new here.

YES THEY WILL BOLT RIGHT UP AND FIT FINE.

FROM THE TIRERACK:
The centerbore of a wheel is the size of the machined hole on the back of the wheel that centers the wheel properly on the hub of the car. This hole is machined to exactly match the hub so the wheels are precisely positioned, minimizing the chance of a vibration. With a hubcentric wheel, the lug hardware will not be supporting the weight of the vehicle, all they really do is press the wheel against the hub of the car. Some wheels use high quality, forged centering rings that lock into place in the back of the wheel. This is an acceptable alternative.
If you have non-hubcentric (lugcentric) wheels, they should be torqued correctly while the vehicle is still off of the ground so they center properly. The weight of the vehicle can push the wheel off-center slightly while you're tightening them down if left on the ground.

OEMS ARE HIGH POLISHED ALUMINUM - THERE ARE NO CHROME PLATED WHEELS FROM THE FACTORY.
2) Hub centric wheels ensure that the center of the wheel is perfectly centered and load bearing on the car's hub. Otherwise centering and load are distributed on the wheel studs (not as good). Use your favorite search engine and search for hub-centric adapters.
The OEM wheels are "high polish," meaning that they are polished and then clear coated.
HTH!
