Hi guys & gals -
I start Monday as Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Borla Performance Industries. I have been checking out the forums and have noticed a few common complaints about Borla, especially in regards to installation instructions. I will get to work on those, and would appreciate any comments or questions that you may have about Borla. Please feel free to email me at richardw@borla.com, or reply to this thread.
Thanks,
Ric
I would really appreciate a set of the instructions (Borla XR-1) as I never got them period with my set! Thanks. If you could e-mail them to me that'd be GREAT!
E-mail in sig! :D
BTW, congrats on the promotion
I wish my system was a bit louder. Had a complete system on my truck and it sounded mean. It's too bad you dont make headers. I was dissappointed in the person I talked with there and advised me to get the cat back, I should have got the XR-1's. Although, XR-1's, but keep all four tips in the back, I like the way it fills in the gap.
I sold my XR-1 system because it resonated too much. If there was a way you could minimize the interior resonance of the XR-1, I would buy another one immediately.
Congrats Ric on the new position. If you really want to improve Borla I
would suggest you start with your product catalogs. Instead of showing
bead blasted exhaust systems why don't you show the systems as they
actualy arrive at the consumers door? You know, Missing parts, Ill welded,
Ill fitting and usually scratched or nicked somewhere.
I know it won't be easy but if you can pull that off then maybe Borla will
offer a decent product.
