Clutch issues
I have purchased a 1998 with 23k miles. The dyno is 405 rwhp. The clutch seems to grab at the top of the petal. It is frustrating to drive. Could the clutch be worn out? If so, what to replace with? I think it is the stock clutch. Also, the fluid seems to be contaminated with dark particles?
thanks Bob

With that in mind, here are three clutch fluid issue threads to review:
Clutch Pedal Woes--Fluid Impact
C6Z06 Clutch Hydraulic Fluid--the Chevy Spec
Clutch Pedal Woes--Fluid Changing Kit
You can accelerate the clean up by
(1) changing the fluid in the reservoir
(2) pump the clutch pedal ten times
(3) if the fluid is not clear, start again at (1)
(4) repeat until the fluid remain clear
