Default Sunvisor Wiring Harness-plug Help!

I successfully removed my drivers-side sunvisor from it's mounting point per the instructions I found here on the forum, which went without a hitch. It is now hanging from the mounting hole by the electrical supply wires that power the visor lights. I fished out the harness plug from the mounting hole as it needs to be unplugged to separate the old sunvisor so you can plug in the new one. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to unplug the harness it without ruining it. I know it must be super simple, but I'm ready to give up. I've pulled, pried and cussed to the point that I have a headache. Can anyone help me?? Surely somebody out there has been there, done that -
