spoiler question
I have an 02 coupe. The spoiler consists of 3 sections; the rt. and lft. sections comprise 25% each of the total. The center 50% is rubber attached to a bar with a spring-loaded arrangement that allows it to deflect over objects. I was at Carlisle last weekend and every Vette I noticed had a 3-piece spoiler that went all the way across at the same level. I went to the dealership and they said the replacement part is the same as what I have. Is this design peculiar to 02s? By the way, they graciously looked and tightened the left section @ no charge....Thanks so much for your help !!! BTW also Carlisle was fantastic !!!!!!!!

If all three sections are not even along the bottom edge, you have probably torn one of the sections at the mounting points, letting that section hang down.
Some people put a curved reinforcing plate under the mounting bolts on the left and right sections to help prevent this.

spoiler question
Yesterday I took the time to study another spoiler on an 01. I realized that my center section had been installed UPSIDE DOWN !!!!! I jacked up the front, removed the bolts, turned it around, reinstalled the bolts and BAMALAM !! Can't believe it had been like that since I had the car..makes me worry about other stuff.
