I am in need of changing the plugs and wires. What parts are the best for a stock motor. Aftermarket is fine if people have had good luck with the parts.
How about stock parts for a stock motor. GM performance wires seem to work just fine for many folks here. GM part number 12495519, and iridium plugs GM part number 12571164.
I have the MSD wires....lots of folks using the iridiums as that is what the cars went to I think in 03 or 04....guys like me with a 99 have been using the TR 55's or the iridiums..

I put in a set of Iridiums and MSD wires a couple of months ago (35k miles on my 99 with OE plugs and wires). No problems so far with the wires (they locked really tightly on the coilpacks and plugs) and I picked up about 1 mpg city and highway...plus a lot smoother idle.
